Hoberman Cube

Expandable rings are placed parallel to the faces of a cube and connected near the cube's edges. (This can be done with polyhedra other than the cube, too.) For visual help, a transparent cube is shown which grows as the rings expand, and another cube with constant size is at the center to indicate the relative size.
